Educaire Promotions Policy

This policy explains every discount Educaire offers on course purchases, when each one applies, and which one you receive if more than one could apply. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

Our discounts are automatic. You do not need a coupon code to receive them, and you do not need to buy through any particular page or suggestion. Your cart works out what you qualify for from the courses in it, and the total shown to you at checkout is the total you are charged.

1. Multi-course discount: 25% off three or more courses

When your cart holds three or more courses, you receive 25% off the whole cart.

There are no other conditions. The courses do not need to share an instructor, a level, a semester, a faculty, or an examination board. This is deliberate, because mixed sets are how students here actually study:

• A university student may combine their current Level 300 courses with a Level 200 course they are re-sitting, and every course counts toward the three.
• An HND candidate may combine courses across their programme, and every course counts toward the three.
• A GCE candidate may combine Ordinary Level and Advanced Level subjects, and every subject counts toward the three.
• The courses may be taught by three different instructors, or by the same instructor. It makes no difference to your discount.

Your cart tells you how many more courses you need before the discount applies, and confirms the amount you have saved once it does.

2. Two-course sets: 25% off

Two courses also receive 25% off when they plainly belong together, which means either of the following:

• both courses are taught by the same instructor at the same level, and share the same semester or the same academic level; or
• both courses are included in the same bundle currently offered on Educaire.

3. University bundle: 50% off five or more courses

When your cart holds five or more courses and every course in it is a university course, you receive 50% off the whole cart. If your cart mixes university courses with secondary or GCE courses, this particular discount does not apply, but the multi-course discount in section 1 still does.

4. Only one discount applies, and it is the one that saves you most

Discounts do not stack. Where more than one could apply to the same cart, you receive a single discount, and never the smaller one:

• The 50% university bundle discount takes precedence over the other discounts, because it is the largest.
• If you enter a coupon code and your cart also qualifies for an automatic discount, we compare the two and apply whichever saves you more. Entering a coupon can never leave you worse off than not entering one, and an expired or invalid code never costs you a discount you already qualified for. Where we keep your automatic discount instead of your coupon, we tell you so.
• Where Educaire has granted you a specific price for a course, that price stands on its own and no further discount is added to it.

5. Coupon codes

A coupon code may be limited by an expiry date, a maximum number of uses, a minimum order amount, or the courses or instructor it applies to. If a code cannot be applied, checkout tells you why. We do not operate promotions restricted to new accounts.

6. Bundles

A bundle is sold at the single price shown for that bundle, which already reflects its saving against buying each course separately. The discounts in sections 1 to 3 apply to carts of individual courses and are not added to a bundle price.

7. Prices, currency, and changes

Prices are set and charged in Central African CFA francs (FCFA / XAF). Where your selected country uses another currency, checkout may also show an estimated amount in that currency for information only; the amount charged is the FCFA amount shown at checkout.

The price that applies to your purchase is the price shown at checkout when you complete it. We may change, suspend, or end any promotion described in this policy, and we may run additional limited-time promotions. A change to this policy does not affect a purchase you have already completed.

Your right to a refund is set out in the Terms of Use, and applies to a discounted purchase in the same way as to any other purchase. A refund is calculated on the amount you actually paid.
